Discover the DEXA—the gold standard for precise body composition analysis, using low-dose X-rays to reveal body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, visceral fat, bone density, and regional breakdowns for optimal health tracking.
Experience the BOD POD—the trusted gold standard for body composition, relied on by universities, NFL teams, and military centers, using air displacement to measure fat percentage, lean mass, and density in a fast session.

These scans provide precise data on your body composition, helping you track fat loss, muscle gain, or health risks like high visceral fat (linked to heart disease). They’re perfect for anyone wanting to optimize health, weight management, or athletes with actionable insights beyond a scale or BMI. Scans guide nutrition, fitness, and wellness goals with clear metrics. Stop Guessing, Start Knowing.
A DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) scans use low-dose X-rays to measure body fat percentage, lean muscle mass, visceral fat, bone density, and regional body composition (e.g., arms, legs, trunk). It’s the gold standard for detailed health insights with accuracy within 1-2% for body composition and bone density. A BOD POD test uses air displacement plethysmography to measure overall body fat and lean mass in a quick, non-invasive session with no radiation, offering accuracy within 1-3% compared to reference methods like hydrostatic weighing. DEXA is ideal for comprehensive analysis, including bone health, while BOD POD is faster and great for frequent tracking without X-rays. DEXA Height and Weight max is 6'6" & 350 lbs. compared to the BOD PODs 7' & 500 lbs.
Results include easy-to-read charts showing body fat percentage, lean mass, and (for DEXA) visceral fat, bone density, and regional breakdowns. You’ll see how you compare to healthy ranges and track progress over time. View sample reports on the About page.
The ideal scan frequency depends on your goals. Quarterly scans (every 3 months) are popular for tracking lifestyle changes like diet or exercise. Monthly scans are great for time-sensitive goals, such as event training or major health transformations. A one-time scan can establish a baseline, with annual follow-ups for long-term monitoring.

Our scans start as low as $25, with transparent pricing for all services. View full details and packages on the Home page. We're significantly more affordable than insurance-billed options and other facilities allowing for frequent scans as needed.
A DEXA scan is a type of bone density scan but offers much more. Traditional bone density scans focus solely on bone health to assess risks like osteoporosis. In contrast, our DEXA scans measure bone density plus comprehensive body composition details, including body fat percentage, lean mass, visceral fat, and regional breakdowns—all in one quick session.
Both methods measure body density to estimate composition, but BOD POD uses air displacement in a sealed chamber for a dry, comfortable experience. Hydrostatic weighing (also called underwater weighing) requires submerging in water while exhaling fully, which can be uncomfortable and less convenient. BOD POD is faster (5-10 minutes), more accessible, and equally accurate without getting wet, which is why it's largely replaced hydrostatic testing in modern clinics.
Both are safe. DEXA uses minimal X-ray radiation (less radiation than a cross-country flight or eating a few bananas) but isn’t recommended for pregnant women. BOD POD uses only air pressure with no risks. DEXA takes 15-20 minutes; BOD POD takes 10-15 minutes. Total appointments, including review, are under 30 minutes.
